Put simply, we are Christians who believe the bible. This means we happily agree with all the things that Christians have historically believed: God created the universe; Jesus is fully God and was born to the virgin Mary; God exists forever as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; Faith in Jesus is the only way to be forgiven and have eternal life.

Here is a summary of the truths from the Bible, which we hold to:

• We believe the bible to be God’s inspired word. Therefore it is trustworthy and authoritative in all it says.
• We believe that there is one God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit – The Holy Trinity.
• We believe in the divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His future return in power and glory.
• We believe that, in order to be forgiven and made right with God, everyone needs to turn in trust to Jesus as their only Saviour and Lord.
• We believe that the Holy Spirit lives in every Christian, pointing them to the truth and helping them to live lives that please God.
• We believe that everyone will be resurrected on the day of judgment. Those who have put their trust in Jesus will be taken into God’s heaven; those who are without faith in Jesus will be cast into hell.
